Veneers
Custom-fit veneers can make immediate improvements to the look of a person’s teeth and the overall appearance of their smile. They consist of thin wafer-like shells that are applied over the surface of a person’s teeth to correct visible flaws and defects. Veneers are quickly becoming a more popular choice amongst patients because of their outstanding versatility and ease of use.
There are many uses for veneers, including:

Since they utilize an ultra-thin design, they are almost entirely undetectable to others. Instead, they offer the full appearance of healthy, natural tooth enamel. Veneers are custom-built using impressions of the patient’s teeth, and require two visits to our office. The process starts by shaving off some of the enamel of the designated teeth so that the veneers can properly fit. At this point, we will take impressions of the teeth and determine the exact shade of coloring that will be used. This information will be sent to a dental laboratory so a custom set can be built. The patient will be fitted with a temporary restoration that will serve them while their custom veneer is being prepped.
Once the custom-build is ready, the patient will return for their second visit. The designated teeth will be thoroughly cleaned and treated with etching gel so the new veneer can properly bond. Using a special dental adhesive, the veneer will be applied over the surface of the teeth.
