Clear Correct
ClearCorrect invisible aligners are one of the best alternative treatment methods to traditional metal braces. They are designed to correct teeth that are crooked or crowded, while also reducing gaps and fixing overbites. The virtually invisible aligners are built using 3-D models of the patient’s teeth in order to ensure the best possible results.
A patient must wear their ClearCorrect aligners for a minimum of 20 hours per day to achieve the desired outcome. Each aligner is replaced with a new one approximately every two weeks, slowly adjusting the positioning of the teeth over time. In most cases, treatment lasts for one to two years, at which point the patient will be able to stop using the aligners.
ClearCorrect invisible aligners provide several advantages over metal braces. Since they are transparent in color, the aligners are almost invisible and nearly impossible to detect by anyone else. ClearCorrect aligners can be taken out at any time, allowing the user to eat and drink whatever they would like during treatment, while also making no adjustments to their usual oral hygiene practices. Their removability also makes the aligners extremely easy to clean and maintain. Athletes who play contact sports greatly benefit from ClearCorrect aligners since they do not present the same injury risks as metal braces.
Although there are many advantages to ClearCorrect aligners, there are also some negatives that should be considered. Some issues such as severely rotated teeth and excessive spacing problems may not be able to be fixed using ClearCorrect. While being able to take out ClearCorrect aligners at any time is a huge convenience, removing the aligner too often can prevent the patient from achieving the desired outcome. Because of this, unmotivated patients may not benefit from ClearCorrect treatment. Even with these limitations, many patients find that ClearCorrect aligners provide tremendous results.
